The NFL “investigated” Deflategate, where it was claimed the Patriots deliberately deflated the ball to make it better to use by quarterback Tom Brady. It was filled with “probably,” and “likely” statements, saying essentially that Brady “probably knew” and that it was “probably deliberate” but that the rest of the team and the coaches didn’t know.
You cannot convince me that an NFL quarterback didn’t know a football was underinflated. And when 11 of 11 began the game at 12.5 psi and ended the game at 11 psi…come on. But who did it and who else knew is anyone’s guess.
Keep in mind this is the second time members of the Patriots have been caught cheating. Last time was a $750,000 fine and apparently that didn’t deter them. This time I hope they lose the championship and have to repay the money. It’s the big money (and tax exemption) of the owners that is corrupting and destroying football. Anyone remember what happened to wrestling?
