You got it backwards. I was just thinking yesterday how cool it would be if we had two moons like Mars. Or even more, like some of the other planets.

Phobos and Deimos, right?

KimberlyT, you are right on.

It’s worth noting that both moons appear larger from the surface of Mars than Luna appears from Earth’s surface, due to their extremely low orbits, although Red may not know this; but the relative size of the moons may not be the only cause for envy – the Martians may be jealous of our nearly-spherical moon, where theirs are irregular in shape (as typical for asteroids).

John Carter would never allow Mars to invade Earth!

While teaching, perhaps Mr. Basset should remember it’s the larger of two, not largest.
