Imaplugger2 , I swear on a million stacks of bibles, that was the comment I typed in BEFORE seeing yours….
pretty amazing…..its one thing to coincide on the brake thing, but using the word “iffy”?— I can’t remember the last time I used the word ‘iffy’
This is why I’m never buying a car with electronics in the critical controls like brakes, throttle and steering.
My husband is a firefighter, and one of their engines had a computer crash in the middle of an intersection on the way to a call. They had to shut the whole thing down to “reboot” the system before they could move again.
Last year, my cousin had her Prius run out of gas on the Interstate. Had to have it towed to a dealer and have the onboard computer reprogrammed. I’m serious! I’ll take a 1982 Pluggermobile anyday!
Nighthawks, you know what they say about “great minds.” And I’m not even a Genius. ;^)

I used to have a car that could get from zero to 60 in three minutes, if I drove it off a cliff.
Then I put wheels on it and things got a lot smoother.

I still don’t understand the out of control acceleration thing. So the brakes didn’t work either? That’s a lot of stuff to fail all at once.
