Lots of hate aimed at Baldo. He’s a teenage boy, for goodness sakes. He works hard at a job – which our society says is praiseworthy. He struggles in school but keeps at it. He’s kind, loyal, and hardworking. Even if he doesn’t go to college (and he may well), there’s no reason to assume he’ll just lounge around.
