You know, there’s a reason the original TV series had one person say, “Look, up in the sky!” and a different one say, “It’s a bird!” That way, the implication is not “OMG, a flying bird!” but “Meh, just a bird; don’t get excited.”
Once, while driving on a freeway, I saw some things in the sky. First I thought they were birds, then toy planes. When I got close enough, I saw they were kites.
