I find my sympathy for teachers to be running low. In my area of the country their pay scale is equal to others with the same education level. The vacation plan isn’t bad. Don’t forget the days off during the school year. They can retire early with full benefits. They receive medical,dental, and eye care which continues into retirement. Have you ever noticed if you’re talking to a teacher they let you know they are one within a few minutes?
