Bed wetting is caused by an undersized bladder, not bad behaviour. He will outgrow it. You might as well punish a baby for doing it in his diaper.

It is only a punishment to be made to wear them on the outside. Bedwetters have sleep dyslexia, pee then wake up.

I remember a news article from years ago that told of a ship’s captain who forced a bet-wetting crewman to sit out in sub-zero weather draped in his wet sheets. He died of hypothermia.
