What happens if the waiter replies, “We do, but you’ll have to come back in about twenty years.”

Subway has a senior discount, but you have to ask for it.

He’s parked close to the door, if he’s legally in the blue parking space he’s a plugger. Otherwise he’s a putz. Be a gentleman, go with her or go yourself. Unless he’s still looking for a parking space or she has to pee…

My dad used to do this on family vacations out of town — only it wasn’t “senior discounts” at a restaurant he wanted to know about ….. it was for directions when he got lost!

Nah, if you’re married to a Plugger like mine, he just drives past any offramp on the Interstate that has a FOOD designation and then innocently asks, “What? You mean you wanted to stop THERE?” Repeat until Mrs Plugger goes completely insane with hunger/thirst/need for potty break! Grrrrrr

flhtcu91, “normal” would be calling the place on the phone. A plugger would do so from home, on a black rotary phone, while thumbing through the phone book.

I didn’t know pluggers had the cash for restaurants. Even when traveling, we usually find a grocery - bread, lunch meat, fruit, raw veggies…
