Shouldn’t it be “Lagos Logo Lego Eggos”?

The arc may be over and done with or Pastis may return to it in the future. That’s the way he works with story arcs; sometimes he does them all at once, sometimes he gets a block on the arc and works on something else then goes back to the arc. And some times he kills an arc prematurely.

Now that’s an Escher-like situation …A comic strip of the cartoonist holding the comic strip.

But isn’t the Lagos Logo Lego a lost leader?
SusanSunshine Premium Member over 9 years ago
Awgie… it depends on whether he actually wants the Eggos or the Legos.Ergo, it can be Lagos Logo Lego Eggos, OR Lagos Logo Eggo Legos. I could go for some eggs and Eggos, if they came with Legos.

I often wonder how much time Pastis devotes to coming up with these. Are they a flash of inspiration? Does he have a process for producing them? Does he work backwards, i.e. create the pun or alliteration first, then come up with its derivation? Enfeebled minds want to know.

little wonder he sleeps in a basket on the front steps of his home.

Let’s pound Cartoon-Boy with legos until he surrenders. No more highly contrived and laborious puns!

Hey, Foxtrot already did a similar pun – as an homage to Pearls Before Swine, no less! Hire some non-bastard models to do the commercials for them, so you would have legitimate looker Lagos logo Eggo Legos….(I do agree that the “Legos” should come first)
Sherlock Watson over 9 years ago
I believe he came up with this while drinking lager and wearing L’eggs.

If they sold only to tardy lumberjacks were late, they’d be laggard lagered local logger lagos logo eggo legos.
