I first saw this cartoon when we were making our kitchen nicer and John was remodeling their kitchen. A few years later my daughter was pregnant with her daughter. Mom waspregnant. My granddaughter was born Feb. 11 and April arrived April 1st. My grandson was in the deliveryroom at age17. And Mike was there when April arrived.
Were there strips showing Elizabeth or Michael being born? All we saw was April, which was unplanned. Also there was some strip where John meets a long-lost illegitmate relative and introduces Elly and his 3 kids, and the relative privately asks “All born in wedlock?” and John whispers “Yes, although the boy was a close call.”
The term “ghetto” referred to the Jewish quarters of Nazi occupied lands. The inhabitants where restricted in thier movements by troops. ’Da hood is NOT a ghetto, never has been, hopefully never will. Go bury that word and study history, FGS.

Elizabeth will be getting her baby sister… in some amount of years.

She changed something. It wasn’t “boombox” in the original strip. It was “ghetto-blaster”

Why not update it to an iPhone instead of a boom box?

Gee, that’s gonna hurt a lot more than a baby.

April was born on April 1, 1991. Add 29 years and she will be arriving in 2020, so we have a while to wait.

By the time April was born, Lizzie probably lost interest, I remember April being born at home, ’cause there was a blizzard outside.

Sure — baby sisters are nice — until you have to change that first (not pee) diaper…

I thought Elizabeth was a teenager by the time April came along.
