Chesney makes do

Everybody have a great Friday!

It’s PetCO day. We have 11 to show but we have to leave 2 at the shelter that we can’t take because we don’t have enough cages. We have 5 in the housing unit at PetCo now – we had 6 but Frank, a big grey/white longhair, got adopted this week.

I was going to buy new more cages at PetCo last week but the manager would not match the petco.com price. Therefore, I need to order them

The manager won’t give you a price break? I wonder how much more income you bring in by holding adoptions, not to mention more food and supplies being sold throughout the lifetime of the newly adopted kitty?

At Petsmart if they don’t have an item in the store and it is available on line they will order it for you on the spot and send it to you for free -much better service than Petco and always cheaper. I know you don;t have a choice where you are so maybe they a monopoly on the pet business in your area and don’t want to play nice with you.

@JP SteveGood observation…..I’ll bet little Nelson Pickles would gladly let the cats pose in those crocheted veggie creations! And the cats would get paid too!

My rescued cat, Christopher, is giving extra LOVE to next door neighbor (who is seriously allergic to cats/dogs). She can’t get enough of scratching/petting him or talking to him over the back porch fence. He KNOWS she needs him (sick hubby). C has feline asthma and is a gorgeous long hair tuxedo…tons of personality and SO friendly.

Question, is an “elefump” the same as an elephant, Chesney and Oliver, only smaller? :-D

I loved those videos from More Cats than Sense! The grey one pushing the kittens off looks like Moose but I’m guessing it’s the mama.

OK -this is the chain we need. Somebody starts in Sonoma CA and we end the chain in or near Vegas or even up in southern UT. (where we live) Vegas is just 2 hours south of here. Anyone going to Zion or Bryce NP this summer?
