The button isn’t connected to anything in most big cities, as Varnes said, it’s a placebo. The same goes for the close door button in elevators. About the only places you can find that button working are hospitals.
Kveldulf: No different from the rest of the country: heavily armed blue against unarmed black. And the blue majority that does not act this way is so bound by the Mafia code of omerta that when the shots do come from the other direction, they are the ones who catch it. Don’t the qualifying tests cover long-term thinking?
The choice of weapons doesn’t really matter much in a face to face between two people, However, there are relatively few mass murders with knives or swords.BTW we have a tiny fraction of deaths by firearms in Canada compared to the U.S. to the point of insignificance.
Yet another unique perspective Wiley. Where ever do you get such an array of ideas? I suspect that the idiot politicians (pardon the redundancy) give you lots of fodder and since they are never ending we can expect you to have a very long run.
Which Waco incident?Branch Davidians Compound -Law enforcement personnel equipped with military grade weapons assault a building holding heavily armed individuals orTwin Peaks Diner – Law enforcement personnel equipped with military grade weapons assault a building holding heavily armed individuals.
Let’s get racist here about gun ownership. Anti gun(as well as anti drug)laws have always started against minorities.Proper gun safety and maintenance should be taught in school along with sex ed and driver’s ed to anyone who wants a diploma.Teaching a kid to hunt and clean his kill will give him a healthy respect for machinery that could be misused and dangerous in unknowing hands. take the mystery out of it and it is just something else to be cleaned and used properly.

at some signals in evanston,il the walk signal doesn’t come on unless the button is pushed – so it does affect the programming in some instances
