I coached travel ball for over 20 years the parents were by far the worst part. We had to tell parents they weren’t allowed to talk to the kids once they came through the gate and onto the field.
Coaching children’s “sports” is an occupational hazard and potentially dangerous to your health …. because of the parents! I had two parents who interviewed me before the season – and chose to move their son to another team because I wasn’t serious enough about winning….????
