Your constant referral to illegal immigrants as immigrants is particular offensive to me because my parents were legal immigrants from Mexico and my son is a legal immigrate from Spain. They worked hard and achieved the American dream.

Political correctness was supposed to eliminate words and phrases that are offensive to many. It has gone wiled and now it is offensive to many so I guess you are politically correct in lumping legal immigrants with ill-legal immigrants because that is very offensive to many.

“Illegal immigrant” is a pretty disgusting term, as it implies that there are illegal people. (Immigrants are people, hence, illegal immigrants are illegal people.) Undocumented immigrant is more accurate and kinder. (Illegal immigration is fine, immigration is an action, and actions can be illegal. People, however, can’t.)

Republicans….anything to avoid a discussion about climate change. The huge water cache under California is almost gone. We are headed for a new dust bowl that will make the original look like a picnic.

Zwinik, undocumented does not work either because we are all undocumented in something. In states where common law marriages are legal, the couple is not committing an illegal act because their marriages is undocumented.

If you are working as an engineer but did not finish you degree, then you are an undocumented engineer but not illegal etc.

Republicans do not deny climate change. Read climate change history and it will scar you . It full of extreme climate changes. Some were slow enough for living things to adjust and some were so fast that most living things were destroyed.

The problem with the climate change argument is the it has left reality and is now a emotionally political augment where facts do not count.

This is a fine example of a standard technique of the Lying Left: Straw Man. Dear Leader uses it all the time. Just create someone or some group out of thin air, have them make stupid comments, and then burn them down. Voila!!! You are a hero and the group you are trying to paint looks just plain terrible. Commies Lie. It is what they do.

It’s called projection; you project what you are and what you do onto the people you hate. Name calling is a big part of it. It’s fascists’ favorite tactic (wink).
