Is Ted going to announce he will be running for President? His shirt reminds me of the Jeb Bush posters that use the first name only.

Pretty sure that higher office is never far from Tellum’s thoughts. ;)

Given how far ahead of deadline Mike & Joe probably work, Ted’s shirt may well be prescience on their parts.

It seems to me that Ted was whimpering and whining rather than being defiant at the crucial moment.

Sam is so very right: it’s the MEDIA CIRCUS, come to to do a location shot at PDHQ and, if at all possible, exploit and goad Chief of Detectives and of the MCU, Dick Tracy, Wendy’s regular Target of Choice. Ted “Glenn Beck” Tellum is just a tool in Wicked Wendy’s kit. (BTW, does she have a mischievous, curious monkey companion? Viewers of kids’ TV will know what I mean.)

Oh Geez seriously? My first reaction when I scrolled to read the strip…Here in my town they would interview the civil rights activists first then get the accurate story from PD public information, regardless of what the police-related story is.

NO civil rights activists in this story, as Tracy is careful not to shoot unarmed teenagers in the back—even if they do have records! Tracyville has the cleanest cops in America.

Hope I’m wrong, but this public effort will provide ‘little further’ for Tracy to work on. A Nothing result !

Ted will try and use his five minutes in the spotlight to put a shine on his undistinguished role in the fall of Jimmy Choo Shooz. His sweatshirt boasts stars and stripes, and Wendy says he is a patriot, so it must be so. If he spews enough nonsense he is bound to get a job offer.

I do feel privileged to have met him. At these events I used to go to, they was very seldom any advance notice who would appear. I would have preferred if there was some way to review all their past work before I met them, so I knew something intelligent to say.

So if Ted implies on-camera that he can be great help to the MCU in cracking the case, Mr. Bigg may decide he’s a “loose end”!

just wait til Wendy gets wind of the corrupt Mayor Armstrong and her acceptance of Warbucks’ bribe ;)
