Who needs sleep when you’ve got Red, Rover, and Creature Features?

There is the Frankenstein movie Alley Oop was looking for.

To this day I still can’t watch horror movies at night if I want to get any sleep at all.

I remember the late night Friday Shocker Movie Theater. Best friend and I would stay up and watch all the horror shows. (Horror then being scary, not a biology lesson.)

WBTV Chanel 3 in Charlotte………. in the late "60’s early “70’s” “HORROR THEATRE” 11:30 Friday nights after the local news. Actually seen that scene (pun not intended) that’s in panel two right there on our big living room TV. I love this comic!!!

Saturday night, my best friend in 6th grade and I dragging my kitchen table into the living room, laying it on its side and making a tent out if it with a big blanket, eating Jiffy Pop and watching “Macabre”. Fun, silly kid adventures. What a wonderland of imagination we lived in, in our little suburban town before the go-go financial drive to “develop” everything began.

That is so cool, Brian! Sand around the pool is a nice touch also!
