    My grandson ( now 20 yrs. old ) wouldn’t watch black & white films on television when he was little because he thought they were " for fake".He also couldn’t believe we didn’t have computers when I was a kid. I tried to explain, we didn’t even have a television, just radios and a record player..

    No, it’s not 99% of science history, not even 1% All the major inventions and principles we use today were done or discovered before 1985. Integrated circuits, radio and cellular telephony, television, lasers, genetic engineering, structural and civil engineering, solar power, rockets, guns, nuclear power…all done before mid 80s.
