People who have experimented with Cooking Oil as a replacement for Diesel fuel have reported that it is, in many ways, a Better fuel.Maintenance costs for the engine actually go Down using Bio-Diesel type fuels..The Big Barrier is that, if you make the switch over entire Fleets of trucks, Cooking Oil prices would Skyrocket because there just isn’t enough vegetable oil available. And the Fuel Oil Companies LIKE it that way..
