I wonder how many folks will think this is a good enough idea to actually carry out. And what might be the consequences of that action. Maybe not the peace and quiet, they were looking for.
I stopped my motorcycle at a traffic light next to a guy who’d been driving dangerously just moments before. On his cell phone(of course), he also had the window down. Just before we got the green light, I gave the bike’s 139db air horn a brief blast. The phone ended up in the back seat. =)
I was inline at the airport getting ready to go through the metal detector. A woman was talking on the phone just ahead of me. Security told her to put it down, she stood there for about 15 seconds and continued to talk. She finally set it in a container just just as it rang. She snatched it out of the container and stood in front of the metal detector and talked again for about another 10-15 seconds.Security told her to step aside, she held up her hand as in “just one second.” She finished and set in the container, stepped through the metal detector and wanted to pick up the phone again. Security held the container away from her and shoved the container into the x-ray scan. She waited anxiously at the other end of the conveyor belt to get her phone and immediately made a call when she got it. It looked like some kind of comedy routine for a skit on In Living Color or Saturday Night Live.
Oh, how I wish I could do that! Especially when someone is arguing. Their voice level goes up a notch! I did actually ask a man to go elsewhere because I didn’t want to listen to his ranting about some woman.
Verizon Wireless announced plans to offer full-length TV shows for customers to watch on their cell phone.
Don’t we have a enough trouble driving while on the cell phone already? Now, soon you’ll be in the car, watching an episode of ‘Two and Half Men’ while you run over Two and Half Men.

If blabbermouth had texted instead, he wouldn’t have been such a nuisance…

You know, there should be something like little booths scattered around—so one can make phone calls in private.

I sat next to a woman at the doctor’s and heard her whole life story. They turn on phone, shut off brain and blab at high volume TMI!

There was one time on Touched By An Angel when Monica threw someone’s cell phone in a fish tank.
