Bruno, good one….But I don’t get the gist of the toon….

Varnes…. apparently “selfie sticks” are the new schtick.

This year’s version of those tired jokes that ended with “There’s an app for that.”

Oh… and if you don’t know what selfie sticks are…they’re little telescoping sticks that attach to a smartphone, I was gonna say “like a tripod,” but I guess they’d be unipods…

and hold it far enough away for idiots to keep taking endless pictures of themselves.

I just use other pictures and photoshop myself in. I can see slideshow vacation pictures of the future. Only selfies and no idea where it was taken.

If Lady Liberty looses her torch, we’ll all get the short end of that schtick.

Aren’t you suppose to at least have a caret to go that bad schtick ?

Hmmm…deflect the blame for the bad joke to the comedian, good strategy!

Wait, I just Googled it..It is a word…You’re still brilliant, though…dsom, I agree…I don’t have a problem with selfies…

It should be monopod (as in a type of billboard using the Burma Shave exemption in the Highway Beautification Act to erect even larger billboards to obscure the scenery) or uniped. Mixing Greek and Latin roots is so jarring.

I’d like to see that IRL.
