4 semesters of college Spanish; 1 A & 3 Bs. I can say “yes”, “no”, One beer please", Where’s the bathroom?" and……well, something really rude about your mother.

I speak a little Spanish, but for some reason it doesn’t stick to my memory like French does.

all we learned how to do was conjugate verbs , not how to converse

4 years of French in High School. I can remember how to say “do you speak Englis?”. I took sign in college and can remember more of that, but don’t get enough practice to be fluent. Fortunately, most of the folks that I meet at work who sign are patient enough with me to help me with what I can’t remember.

What, if any, is your second language?

It is the language I only use in private, so unless you want to meet with me privately, I’m afraid I can’t divulge…
