My mother didn’t make a chaise, but she did make a throw pillow. Or rather, she had a friend make it for her. Every time we brushed our sheepdog, we saved the fur. Her friend carded it, spun it into yarn, and then made the sofa cushion. Our dog always eyed that cushion suspiciously.
I wish someone would discover a use for it. I have two German Shepherds, and if I could get a dollar a bail for it, I’d have a significant new source of income.

Yuk. I did save my cat’s hair years ago. Still have it in a plastic zip bag. I loved that cat!
