I work at a computer at home like Adam. About 3 p.m. on “la nuit du garbage” a reminder pops up my screen telling me to collect all the trash and put the containers on the curb.

So glad I’m living in a city where I only have to take my garbage to the side of the garage and they’ll pick it up the next day without my having to try to lug it down the driveway.
