When Brad is having chicken for dinner, he has 3 best friends. They don’t bother me because I can’t eat chicken. For some reason, they never seem interested in my grilled cheese.

Oh yes if eating and watching TV I have a little girl face on each shoulder trying to help with my diet. They try to make sure I don’t eat too much. Each will try to redirect the fork her way. I have learned to where old shirts when eating because I’m going to have at least part of my dinner on my shoulders. The other three don’t really care but the dog may get miffed. Gotta love the mind of a cat.

I’m vegetarian so the kitties aren’t interested in my food (except for Orange Kitty licking the greek yogurt container) but Freddog sure expects his share of my meal. I give him the last bite and he is pretty happy, especially with peanut butter and toast, his favorite. Queen, what happened with the Petco cats yesterday?I hope everyone who has been ill is much improved this weekend.

Even in time-out, Chesney is still a pain! Eldo – thanks for the Repast Blast from the Past – love seeing those old ones. 2old – love the pictures – especially the bread shop cat. Rikki Tavi – really cute pictures.

In the Repast pics I see that Lily is Chesney’s cohort. Come to think of it she has been absent recently…she DID rid the place of those pesky fleas! Hope to see her, Woof, sweet Oliver, This Side up and Route Nine more often. And….more arcs featuring all the rest of the TCs. Chesney can have a loooooooog time out. LOL

I had an interesting morning, last nite at about 11pm I got a sharp pain in my chest,,,,and it came and went all night. About 7:30 this morning I asked Husband to take me to the ER.5 hours later, 2 EKGs, 2 blood draws,. and a chest x-ray, they found……nothing. All the tests were better than normal! So why do I have a sharp pain still. Dr. said it probably was a muscle tear. They gave me Vicodin and a muscle relaxer which did nothing but send me to Loopy Town. Oh, and my blood sugar was high (224) so I have to call my Dr, on Monday. Does anyone else have this problem? I have no symptoms at all. Curious.

PetCo update: my little girl, Maverick, got a new home with a family. They have a 5 yr old daughter and a 10 yr old daughter. Marbles, the big black and grey boy got a home. Susan’s two 12 week of kittens got homes. That leaves Tux and Madame Crabby down there in the condos.

We did not send the black male this morning. We agree he is just too small, even tho he got neutered this past week.

    GWEEDO

DID I HEAR MY NAME MENTIONED?

“And this whole meal thing is on the dry and dusty side which makes it 10 times more trying.”

    Are you saying I’m “trying”?

Unfortunately, I got my cat Sheba hooked on vanilla ice cream. Now every day after we have dinner, she sits in the kitchen by the refrigerator and waits for her tablespoon of ice cream. >^..^<

@2old: you are not alone. My acid reflux does that sometimes. Although I am on Nexium, I still have occassional pain. I take Gaviscon. It coats the esophagus and helps reduce the pain, be well, my friend.

@Dry and Dusty: take care, my friend. Too much reflux can lead to esophageal cancer. (Please, see my note to 2old). Be well, my friend.
