Ralph: How was your doctor appointment, honeybunch? June: Not good. Sniff! Ralph: What's wrong?? June: My doctor wasn't as nice to me as he usually is. He acted like he barely knew me! Ralph: But... Is everything else OK? June: Physically I'm fine, but emotionally I'm scarred!

It’s required by law these days. If you’re nice to a patient then you clearly are getting paid too much and the government will order your insurance company to pay less.
