It’s not that he was “too good” for her or anything, they were just wrong for each other. Ryan will meet some nice little wahine back home someday, not necessarily “simple”, but not so “complicated.” They’ll adore each other and have five kids and love each other even after he loses his muscle tone (which would have been iffy with Mona).
