I loved this arc, but I’m also still wondering what in the world was going on in the original storyline for these illustrations?!? Her hubby is pulling her across the floor by one leg and now she’s in traction?
Thanks, everyone! I can’t tell you how glad I am to hear that many of you enjoyed this experiment. I think I will do another continued story.
But not right away.
Next week we’ll be back to single-panel gags (and occasional two-panel gags.) And I’ll be reverting to my previous schedule with comics on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
Jo Jo: Unlike most of my Last Kiss material, “Widow Miss Muffet” didn’t use old art that I rewrote. Instead, I wrote the script and then the incredible Dick Giordano drew it for me.
John, I salute you, too. My childhood Lemmon, Garner, Grant romps wrapped around women devoid of any moral fiber whatsoever, the Anti-Doris. Like the first few years of Will and Grace, a total hoot.
Actually, Kab Buch, it never occurred to me that there would be anymore to the story. But I’ve had so many people ask me about what happens next that I’ll have to think about it.

Thanks John. A great “ride” through Mitzie’s life…and does Harold ever get off sitting on the oxygen tube???!!! We may never know, or will we?

Okay, I held one back for last: I’m really surprised Muffet couldn’t tough it out.

Ohhhh…I get it now. Thanks for the info, Mr. Lustig. What an honor to have had something drawn for you by Dick Giordano!

Helo Mr. Lustig would have been interesting to see how this ends. Your doing what author on book series does leave readers hanging.
