She never said she wouldn’t go out with him somewhere else. She turned down ‘that particular date’ not him. .Am I putting too much into a comic strip???
I’ve never understood why people think chickens can’t fly. We had a couple of them and one of them flew pretty well. She could even go straight up and down like a helicopter as a few stray cats found out the hard way when she would come back down big claws first.
When I was very young (4 years old) we had chickens. Dad would clip the feathers on one wing. That caused them fly in circles. That kept them from flying over the fence.
As a child my wife had a similar experience. In her case the headless chicken ‘chased’ her and both her and the chicken fell in a hole her father had dug for something he was doing. She said it kept running in the hole with her screaming. To this day she will not eat chicken. She has a hard time fixing it for me!
@waykirk1: I remember dad wringing their heads off, etc. I avoid thinking about that when I eat chicken.-——-@tcar-1: That’s a terrible experience for a child to go through. I’m sorry that it scarred her for life.-——-Have a peaceful night my friends.
