Before we had a/c our cats used to sleep in the bathroom washbowls, one in each bowl. Apparently, porcelain is just as cool as tile.

I’d try that on one of our hot days………………but my knees won’t allow that…………..

I’d try it, but you’d need to bring in a forklift to get me back up!
These days, if I need to get down on the floor to pick something up, I will look around to see if there is anything else I can do while I am down there…

If I have to get down on the floor, I make sure I have a sturdy piece of furniture to use to help me get up again.
