And if they don’t offer it voluntarily, we’ll kill the males, ravish the females, and take it as plunder. Yes, the End of the World would prove very interesting.
I DID read that, back in my undergrad days, back when the velociraccons and sabre-toothed poodles still roamed the earth. :-) In those days, you turned on the B&W TV and waited for the tubes to warm up—now you turn on the TV and wait for its operating system to load. :-) Wow—haven’t read scifi in many many years—but that was a GOOD one! I need to look up some of those childhood classics!

Only the one who goes looking for berries will actually survive in the wild. Nature truly IS wonderful.
