wonder if it does “mr softee” theme, or the “hello theme”, and some do “the entertainer”(the sting theme)

After you hear about the 500th repeat of “The Band Played On” the thrill is gone.

Love to hear the ice cream truck-one of the few joys of the past that still exists today.

Sadly, often in some areas, the trucks are are front for drug sales!! Nancy has enough on her plate with Sluggo without Goof Balls !!!!

Used to love hearing the music from the ice cream truck as a kid. That meant MORE SUGAR! I’ve often thought a modern equivalent could be a pizza wagon (selling by the slice) with Bob Marley tunes announcing its approach. Guess that puts me in at least one different demographic than when I was 10.

In San Antonio, we have a truck that cruises the neighborhoods, even in December. So, sometimes during he summer, we hear Christmas music coming from the truck.

When I was growing up, “Turkey in the Straw” had cornered the market on all ice cream trucks in our town. Most ice creams were a nickel. My mom would not let me have a dime for the really high quality ones.

I cannot express how much I despise “Turkey in the Straw”, especially at dinner time.
