I feel very sad for Joel. He is such a good sort, and now he is locked away. This is going to really take a huge amount of thinking on his part to figure out how to get out of this horrendous predicament. Also very sadly, now that Joel is dressed in prison clothes, it is certain that he will be without his pipe for quite a spell. Hopefully he has it stored in the pocket of his jacket, and it will safely get returned to him.Without his pipe and pipe tobacco, it will be more of a challenge for Joel to be contemplative and figure a way out of this mess.
