The title of this comic strip should be, ” How Pitchers Spend Their Money.”

That isn’t the Cubs, is it?

To hear a certain pinstriped team, you’d think God carried their pitcher.

Definitely exemplifies the attitude of pitchers I have known (and not even MLB pitchers).

Wild Thing you make my heart sing… Remember in the old days pitchers use to pitch complete games. They say some pitchers threw over 200 pitches per game. I went to a double header years ago Game 1 Don Drysdale Game 2 Sandy Kofax Both pitchers had complete games….

Although our colts are a first class nfl club, we STILL have minor league ball here in Indy, our beloved Indians, hard to get excited about a double header with the Toledo Mudhens

Lew: This is Carlos Zambrano, the $18,500,000 middle relief man.

(Although Z did so poorly in relief, he’s going to be allowed to fail as a starter again.)

The third baseman looks like he’s one third over the horizon.

I think from that angle, he’s the first baseman, poohbear. It must be a real steep crown on the field…like the old Cowboy Stadium.

O.K.! Makes sense the way the grass is cut. For some reason I thought the near guy was on first. Must be my dyslexia. Did not notice how weird that would be.

Cowboy Stadium huh. For a while I thought they were on a very small planet.
