Poor Bassetzilla (or Dogzilla as he’s called where he debuted – or she; there are movies with a pup) – why that brutality? Lois would have tamed that wild beast in no time; I’m sure she’d have no problems with Bassetzilla, too…

Bassetzilla looks almost a bit less scary to me this time….

but I know he’s been rampaging through Cleveland….

So there’s no sympathy from me when Superbasset, with a mighty throw, dispatches him far across the universe.

I can’t help wondering though…. as he zooms off into space..

will he live?

And does this leave room for a sequel…. perhaps, “Return of Bassetzilla?”

Speaking of Ballard St, though….

I’d like to know what the 10-years-ago folks meant by “tagging” a comic.

Until almost exactly 9 years ago, I was on Comics.com… which “merged” with GoComics in May of 2011…

bringing me, and lots of others, to this site instead.

Mostly, I liked GoComics better… hard to remember the differences now.

But one feature I missed from Comics.com…

was that you could search the archives by keyword…

I think either in general or for a particular strip .

depending on what keywords the cartoonist had included…. but readers could also add tags.

It was sooo much easier to find old strips.

I’ve never known a useful way to “tag” strips on GoComics.

Does anybody know what Ejcapulet and Fierce are referring to?

Just discovered, too, that “Lewisbowers” is Lewreader…

I recognise that name…. didn’t know it got changed.

At least he’s not driving a car at the same time.

Good ending to the Saga. We’ve been saved by Super Basset. Hooray!

So Lois never did get carried off to the top of Key Tower (and Bassetzilla never got to bat down those cute biplanes…)

Just wait till Lois finds out who he really is and then shakes him to pieces for not telling her. Only 7 more months to go before the second birthday of when they said they would fix Sherpa and the third birthday from when they said they would in 2017.

Poor, resigned, Scooter. Whose walk was this anyway, he asks?
