I remember setting a match to the Vitalis bottle opening for the blast of blue flame and the fwooosh.
I once saw an ancient Vitalis bottle, probably from the 30’s, which showed the ingredients as alcohol and cod liver oil. But still, Vitalis was much less greasy than Wildroot Cream Oil (“Hiya, handsome!”) or Brylcreme (“a little dab’ll do ya”). Much better at keeping down forehead acne.
