It amazes me how ignorant people are unable to read and look at how he passed through the FBI’s checks. Yet it has to be the fault of the NRA. Remain willfully ignorant, it makes you the laughing stock.
The flaws around the “Brady Bill” limited federal access to records, actually, and mandate the records are disposed of after five days on the federal side. The Roof screwup at it’s base IS the result of local governments screwing up, with contribuiton from the feds only, actually, only on their geographic mapping and well “GPS”. That was also engineered by “conservative” politicians writiing legislation, AND marching order through budgets to the agencies.
If there were “red flags” on that application, there should have been some way to delay the sale until it was checked out. The NRA would not like that all though. They made a huge concession on a 3 day waiting period. Think they would allow more delays? For any reason?
