Hm, I missed it - I’m seeing the GoComics Phenomenon where people vent about a post that has been deleted, leaving only the reaction. And today, I logged on so much earlier than usual!
Not that I enjoy watching people beat up on Joe - especially, those people who haven’t yet heard his story of his traumatic brain injury. I don’t even enjoy suggested fixes of our host’s grammatical efforts … before I learned years ago to suppress my professional proofreader self, I found out in memorable fashion that teasing him even mildly in doing so (or, doing so at all) isn’t appreciated. People just want to feel heard about what they’re trying to say, that’s all.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I guess flagging can work pretty fast.
I think Evelyn has a point (not to mention, a funny line).
Hospitalization is way too expensive to be stuck with paying even a mere 20%, despite that many of the items in the bill will typically be discounted to accept assignment of Medicare.
But I wouldn’t worry if I were she (and Sally, that one IS correctly in the nominative case, though correctness can sound awfully old-fashioned!) … by now Evelyn would surely have noticed it if she were allergic to plants.
I’ve learned my lesson (I think) about commenting on posts that have been removed. Above, I commented on a comment about a post that had been removed - and now the comment that I did see has also been removed! I didn’t foresee that. From now on, I’ll have to remember that by doing so, I mistakenly joined the list of folks who comment on spam that’s bound to get flagged and removed.

Yes Evelyn, check those benefits. They’ve gotta be better than medicare for you to accept.

But, Sluffo, you have only used that screen name 13 times to post comments on GoComics.
So this must be #14 eh? I fail to see your point unless you feel I should be commenting more often. I usually don’t have the time nor feel the need.

Overdunne’s response should have been “him was allergic”
