Even if you don’t approve of their habits, why would you make a dog wear a sign like that around their neck as an invitation for judgement? Animals have feelings too! I’ve heard of schools where teachers mete out similar punishments to unruly students, forcing them to describe their crime and literally bear its burden, and I think it’s disgusting. That’s not going to teach a child to take responsibility for what they do wrong. That’s going to make them feel ashamed of whatever they do, right or wrong alike.

Ya, they learn to turn on the tap but they don’t turn it off when finished.
