Better & better EVERY day! Who will be the casualties: BB-Eyes & Mumbles seem indestructible. I know that Doubleup was recently given a backstory to make him a little more of a sympathetic character, but I honestly wouldn’t miss him. So long Apollo and, maybe, Venus. And Melies: Better put your hands over your eyes! I would be sorry to see HIM go, though. He’s really the most original character that Mike & Joe have come up with ( IMHO.)

DoubleUp seems to be amused by Mumbles’ tale of woe (panel 2) and even smirks in double-talk, heh heh! But the now worried-looking Méliès at least has had a chance to forewarn his team so that they can be ready for the impending shoot-out at Ace Tower. I like the idea that returning Blaze may come upon the junior detectives and be faced with an important, defining choice; I hope it won’t cost her her life! But it looks like someone(s) will be at a minimum badly wounded in the coming gunfight and perhaps even killed. Who is expendable as a character?

Possessives can be tricky. Does the treacherous trio possess the squad, or the chance to be executed? Pretty Venus may need more than her screen to stay safe. A goose egg may be the least of Mumbles’ worries. Heh, heh.

Mumbles could be the first casualty – dead or would render him incommunicado for the time being. That would save T-Bolt. Whatever others say is hearsay especially that Mr Bigg is not that fond of Mumbles

Back from vacation! Up in the Gweedo’s territory, I didn’t see a paper or read Tracy for a week and a half. EZ to catch up, though! Was rafting on the Animas the day before the spill.

@Morrow and SYDNEY PHILLIPS: I don’t usually complain but I’m going to make an exception. Pollution of those rivers is a terrible EPA accident (or should I say a preventable ecological nightmare). Congress needs to reign in the EPA, however, due to political correctness Congress will do little or nothing. I will get off my soap box now.

It always amazes me how Bribery, basically a skinny wimp with effeminate characteristics, manages to control and inspire fear in virtually every tough, hardened criminal around…..

You’re right. I don’t think she has a W.W. She doesn’t really have a place to keep one.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been a cut away from the action to show something going on somewhere else. That’s been such a usual event in previous stories. Actually, I’d like to hear what Bribery and Diet are talking about. Will we see a big death toll in a shoot-out here or will it be like the shoot-out at Mr. Crime hq? Lots of wounded but only Danny killed by gunfire. Tevo was killed by plant & Panda by barracuda.

@Jim in CT: I like your idea about reigning in Congress. With all those discussions and speeches, Congress probably has a large carbon footprint. Maybe the EPA can fine Congress. LOL.
