That’s one of the old school toasters where the lever would stay down even if it’s unplugged. Just recently bought a toaster and the bread wont stay down unless it’s plugged in; and if I think its time to pop it out, I can’t just push the lever up, i have to turn the knob all the way to the 0 position. Uh oh, i think i just became a plugger.

Neither of those plugs are well grounded. Wonder if the toaster uses Ashley Madison.
