I thought Calvin was already a little pest.

And suddenly it occurs to Calvin, that he will need a pilots license to be able to fly and attack his Dad.

@LeadingEdge: LX013 just had her 7-year anniversary as a poster on GoComics. It’s amazing how much her English has improved over the years. She lives in Austria, so she doesn’t have to post at 6:00 in the morning like some of us.

One what, Calvin? A mosquito or a vampire?

I guess if I had a choice, I’d prefer vampire! Mosquitos have a very short life span…

The male mosquito eats fruit. As Kipling noted: The Female of the Species is More Dangerous Than the Male.

I wonder whose bright idea it was to put those two mosquitos on the ark?

If an adult acted like Calvin did, he would be in a room with padded walls.

I thought mosquitoes, like flies, were ubiquitous. Perhaps I’m wrong.

Mosquitoes are the main reason, and flies too, that I don’t kill non-poisonous spiders. If I find them in the house I capture them and carry them outside, much to my daughter’s chagrin. She calls me a spider lover. I don’t love them, I just respect them, and want to give them a chance to do their jobs :)

    Hi Leading Edge

    .

From yesterday: “There are some nice things about being a woman. I’d think I’d like the idea of having brought a life into this world.”

    .

“But I don’t think I’d like being pregnant and as for actually giving birth?? I’m an engineer. I’ve looked at the plumbing. That’s got to hurt! No thanks, I’ll stand there and watch it happen in the mirror behind the doctor.”

Lol, I agree with you 100%. The pregnancies and labor were difficult, but totally worth it. I absolutely love being a mommy. That was my life’s ambition, I had my boy and my girl, and I am so blessed to have accomplished my dream.

    .

Let us know when your book is available :)

@LeadingEdgeI happen to know that LX013 is an Oma in real life. In terms of age, she is probably closer to being a Mutti to me.
