Tourist sites and web sites aren’t exactly the same thing, Jason, if you ask me.

This is why parents should take vacations by themselves. What some cheese with that whine?

So the family goes into a restaurant, and Andi asks, “excuse me, but do you serve crabs?” Hostess: Of course, ma’am. We serve anyone. How many in your party?"

I mean, come on, SOMEBODY had to say it! XD

But I don’t want to get crabs!

While I loved living in DC,* I personally feel it’s a bit overrated as a tourist destination. The Mall’s too sprawling and is poorly signed, and the museums are best visited a little bit at a time over the course of years, not during the course of a week or long weekend. Restaurants and shopping near the Mall are poor (but improving); the best parts of the city lie beyond the stomping grounds of most tourists. *For those who blame DC for all of the U.S.‘s problems, don’t forget – the residents of DC have no representation in Congress, so Washingtonians are blameless when it comes to Congress – the blame falls entirely on the citizens of the 50 states.

And salt. Lots of salt.

Why crabs?
