That kid’s whole world revolves around a fish-slapping bear.

—Anddd, the circle is unbroken. Alice skillfully turns the presser back to the real main topic of concern for Americans everywhere, fish-slapping bears!That girl will go far (even if sometimes I wish she’d go way far away)!

That’s actually a pretty good depiction of a fish slapping bear. Great art, Alice – you should hang out with Ruthie in One Big Happy and sell some of it!

I love how unfazed Andre is by the “cul-de-sacarazzi” in the first panel!

If there is one thing Alice can do well, it’s draw a fish slapping bear.

And so another Cul-de-Sac press conference has come to satisfying end.

Just my opinion, but I think the term ‘play-date’ shouldn’t be used if the participants are over, say, 5 years old. Otherwise, a very fun arc, and mabrndt, thanks for the blog links.
