He’s not a nut, lol. He’s an introverted Highly Sensitive child. It’s good that Petey is shown as understanding and naming his needs and behaviors. He’d be a nut if he wasn’t able to understand and cope.

There are a couple of extant Viking-era helms with horns, but they were ceremonial only. That may be where the opera companies got the idea that the helms worn in combat were horned.
