I read an article recently about the demise of the Rolodex (due to electronic devices), however it did conclude that an electronic address book will never have the same personality or character. I never had a Rolodex, but wanted one after reading that article.
I was where Opal was last week talking to someone where my daughter attended this type of college, where she did an internship at and I could not think of the place she attended my mind was totally blank. I had to ask her where it was and go my answer. The college she went to did not prepare her for right type of test she needed and didn’t past. Could not apply either not certified.
I bought a Roladex recently as a quick way to store passwords and the questions asked to verify your identity. You know the ones I mean-where were you born?, what is your favorite food?, etc. I try to use the same password for most like gocomics, eBay, insurance drug company, but, gosh, there are so many of them. Got an iPhone, and that doubled the number of items I had to try to remember. Also telephone books are printed so small, I added a card for “Workers” for yard man, painter, carpenter, etc.
Wow, great idea, sons. I have a file folder sitting at my desk stuffed with that info but a Rolo would make it work good. Plus I won’t have to sort through all the other folders I inevitably hide it under.

Mr. Rolodex draws a blank. If that didn’t hit so close to home, I’d laugh.
