Your just now getting around to get last Falls leaves out of the gutters. Earl is a procrastinator for sure. FLAG THE CHINESE SPAM!

ejcapulet: come on, who says she took care of the house the WHOLE time. I’m sure she got sick once in a while and Earl let her slack until she was well enough. After all, she had all those meals to fix for him that had to come first.

Cleaning gutters is no job for an old lady who’s probably never been on a ladder in her life. I can’t quite imagine Earl standing there watching her do it! Ergo-HIS job! (^_^)

Yes, I am awaiting my honey do list for today.

There are things here at our house that would need to be done and my hubby who is retired won’t. He doesn’t like ladders or steps.

I’m sorry, but neither of them belong climbing up a ladder; where are their children/grandchildren?

Either Earl ought to do it, or cough up the money to hire a pro.

I don’t remember seeing their kids, but grandson Nelson stays there, at least sometimes. He’s a little small, but could probably do the job. If he falls. kids heal better than grampas. Make it a game; “Man the rails, we’re taking boarders!”

I think Earl is more like Andy Capp. Opal is more like Flo Capp to do many chores around the house to be taken care of all the times. Earl, you are such a smart-aleck to be acted like Andy Capp. I know you are not beer drinker, tho’. LOLs!

Wow. So much for the feminist movement and equality of the sexes. My mother is in her 60’s and wouldn’t hesitate to go up the ladder to clean the eavestroughs.

Yet she brings him all his meals, cooks them and washes the dishes and makes the bed, does all the housework and yet he complains that she won’t climb a ladder. I’d kill him. Poison his lazy butt.

Wait, I know the answer to this one! Because Earl would never, ever see anything that needed doing around the house. Somebody has to be project director…
