The “key” to a kingdom with a city or area so strategic that, if taken, the rest of the kingdom would be severely crippled! That makes sense. To a woman, her shoes pull everything together and a bad shoe choice makes the look fall apart.
Joe-Allen I like your version better. But I don’t think Lila is refering to Christian related but object related since sadly she worships shoes and not the creator of us.
I don’t own too many shoes one type for work, another or two for church:cold weather and warm weather likes type of sandles, and casual for walking wear which get to hot but a lot of people wear all time.
