I think my best year was the third year of the best job I ever had. Everyone liked seeing me walk into their office; people re-arranged their schedules to make appointments with me; they ended phone conversations and left meetings when I came to see them; everyone, including the president, knew my name; I was… the PC guy! :-)Really, all the years of that job were good, but in the third year, I was one of the “Employees-of-the-Month”.
