I’m still waiting for zip-line gondola street cars. No power necessary except at the stations, to raise the car to the next zip line on the circuit.

My first impression of the “power towers” was that they were skeletons for transformers. It took my brain a second to readjust to the intended effect.

Can’t you just appreciate the punch line? Absolutely no pun intended. Mallett is a genius who happens to live among us.

Glad somebody else noticed the Steve Morse t-shirt. Morse, formerly lead guitar for the Dixie Dregs, was voted Guitarist of the Year 5 years in a row by Guitar Player Magazine. Not the readers, who tend to vote for the flavor of the month (i.e., whoever currently has a Billboard 100 hit), but by the magazine’s staff. If there was any fairness in the music biz, no one would know the names Justin Bieber or Clay Aiken, and Steve Morse and Rory Gallagher would be household names.
