I would like to share with all my T.C. freinds, a few of my furry kids. this is the oldest of the gang. Her name is ‘This’. there were 2 kittens, my Daughter named them, This & That. That went to a forever home when he was 8 weeks old. This is now 12 years old, and still feisty!!
The next one is, D.O.G….She is 8 years old. got her from a friend, when she was 9 weeks old. The hunter…ANYTHING she can catch, she brings in through the cat window! Most of the time, she will eat her catch.
This is Masi (ma-see), 7 years old. rescued her from a Navajo Gift Shop in New Mexico, July ’08…Hence, the name Masi….Navajo, for Cat. She was about 10 weeks old
And last, but not least, is Patches. 5 years old. Stocky, female that does NOT like her tail touched! We have been warned by her, and she will draw blood!
For memorable keepsakes, I had coffee cups made at Rite Aid with the ‘Kids’ pictures (1 per cup) on them,(a Christmas Gift for my wife one year) and have them displayed on the sideboard.
Ok, well those didn’t work….. I know I made a typo the first time around, but what else am I doing wrong? You all did say to use the direct url in photobucket, right?
As I understand it, and at my age, I’m probably mistaken, since I preregistered for the Windows 10 upgrade, it is probably downloading in the background right now. I will then have the option of actually installing it when I work up the courage. Personally, I am waiting for the first “Windows 10 for Dummies” book to come out August 5 so I have something in my hands when I take the plunge.
Lady! Beautiful picture!! As Eldo said, you had a typo in the first one and forgot the < > in try #2. Try again! Puh, if I can do it, anyone can..Beautiful furballs, 29palms!.Those rascally cats are getting the mice all stirred up.
Wow, just read last night’s posts. Whew…a huge thanks for all of you posting stories about your beloved pets.@Shikamo.. Stormy and Mua’s pics are great. They were so loved by you. @Poppet bear…Figaro and your Mum..too darn funny. Reminds me of when I was bent over painting the back porch steps and Marcel ran through my legs with a screeching cicada. The paint brush went flying and I did some screaming myself. A bystander would have howled laughing. I also love the ’Pookster’s’ picture. @2old…wonderful story about Toshie.
29palmsI have Windows 7 which has the Start window. Am too afraid to accept the free Windows 10 offer right now. Do let us know how 10 works out for you.
Jack hammering going on behind my and next door neighbor’s garages to repair raised/cracked concrete caused by tree roots since decades ago to present. This is a shared driveway (access granted) used mainly by @10 houses to my right. Those to my left are not affected and yet 2 of them donated big time to the project. Only 1 owner to the right donated. You figure. How my grandson’s, especially Evan, would love watching this. Yes, I am making video’s to show the boys as I and 2nd daughter drive to VA Friday. Evan’s mom and boys move to new house tomorrow. To say the least we have been warned that ‘things will be out of order’. I’ll bet!!! Next door neighbor will be monitoring repairs while I am gone. We on the east coast are in the midst of a terrible heat wave with highest humidity this summer. . I may not have internet access from Friday so I won’t post until returning early next week. Will miss you guys!
The tree root is exposed. Just dropped off some cold drinks for the workmen…I don’t know HOW they do it! Tomorrow the tree service should come to grind down the stump and roots. The dog won’t even go out to watch and bark at them…too hot and humid. Tyler is in shady front window watching the bird feeders and my darling Oliver is in dining chair next to me. Christopher is asleep in coolness of living room. Stay well and cool y’all.
Please check out Looks Good on Paper. Last week we lost a cat, and not just any cat. The “hunter” needs to be accountable.Watch Jimmy Kimmel’s take on this senseless act.
This playpen has been well worth the $40 I paid. I like being able to have them next to me when I’m sewing. And, they can watch the lizards and other critters outside on the patio.
Thank you all for your kind, and warm comments on my ‘fur babies’ After being up most of the night and day waiting for this blasted Windows 10 to download, I’m going for some shut-eye…..I’ll post later, or tomorrow on how Windows 10 works out….
I read TC during my dinner break at work so this is probably a late posting but I wanted to say that I love the pictures everyone posts of their fur babies past & present and the stories they tell! I’ve also learned so much. I knew very little about fostering until I started reading QOA’s posts and I’m very impressed by what she’s doing. I also had to look up “voles” – I had never heard of them before! Earler I had to look up the word “moggie” since I had no idea what that was either! Now if I could only learn to post pics. I’m not very computer literate either but I’d like to share pics of my 2 girls -moggies that is, LOL!.
This is a sample of the kitty pads. People use them in carriers, on chairs, beds – anywhere to keep hair off. One lady said her cat actually drags his around the house.
When I post that I’ve been sewing, this is what I’m doing. I have zero talent for most things but I can sew a straight line.
@QOA Would you sell some kitty pads to me? They are truly beautiful. The tub o’orange boys is adorable.@29palms 10 sounds OK so far. Another free offer ‘popped’ up today. The fact that your speed changed favorably sounds very attractive. I may need a new laptop…it is 4 and giving me trouble. I have HSI by Fios.

What’s up with the new comics page layout? I don’t like it all. It’s way to slow to scroll back and forth between the comics.

I don’t see how they could be zipped together. The bottom is not detachable.
I guess you could put one upside down but I don’t see how it could be attached unless you ran duct tape all around it.

Hi everybody…
I’m on my way out the door, but I want to share that I just heard back, very briefly, from Ruth…Thank you, Marge, for letting me know to write to her.
She says she has had a small stroke, will be ok, and will be back when she is able.I’m sure she could use our good wishes and prayers.
back later…
